Integration Terms of Service
1. Acceptance and Scope
These terms apply to the private household integration operated by Steward Manor Estate (“SME,” “we,” or “our”). By using the integration, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue its use.
These terms cover SME’s connected-device features. Travel bookings and other services offered through the Steward Manor Estate website remain subject to their separate terms.
2. The Integration
SME connects authorized household devices with Home Assistant and household television displays. Depending on the connected devices and permissions granted, features may include live camera viewing, device-status information, and notifications about motion or doorbell activity.
The integration is intended for the account owner and authorized household users. Publication of this website does not provide public access to household cameras or devices.
SME is independently operated and is not a Google product.
3. Account and Device Authorization
You may connect only accounts and devices that you own or have permission to manage. You are responsible for ensuring that your authorization includes the intended viewing, processing, and sharing of device information.
Google connections use Google’s authorization process. You choose which supported permissions and devices to authorize. SME does not require you to disclose your Google account password to the application.
Protect your account credentials, access tokens, and private stream links. Notify the SME administrator if you believe access has been compromised.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the integration for authorized household viewing and device notifications, subject to applicable laws and connected-service requirements.
You must not:
- Access another person’s accounts, cameras, or data without authorization.
- Use the integration for unlawful monitoring, harassment, or invasion of privacy.
- Publicly distribute private camera feeds or credentials.
- Bypass access controls or interfere with connected devices or services.
- Use the integration to infringe another person’s rights.
You are responsible for obtaining any notices, permissions, or consents required for your use of cameras, audio, or recordings.
5. Privacy and Data Handling
Our Integration Privacy Policy explains what information the integration accesses and how it is used, stored, shared, and deleted.
Authorization permits SME to process information only for the disclosed integration features and purposes. It does not grant SME ownership of your camera footage or permission to use it for unrelated advertising or marketing.
Google API data is handled subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
6. Connected Services
The integration depends on third-party services, software, devices, internet connectivity, and hosting infrastructure. These may include Google Nest, Google Cloud, Vivint, Home Assistant, and DigitalOcean.
Your use of connected services remains subject to their applicable terms. You are responsible for any subscriptions or charges associated with your accounts, devices, internet service, or separately authorized hosting services.
Changes to provider APIs, permissions, subscriptions, or device support may affect available features.
7. Availability and Limitations
Live video and notifications may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable because of network conditions, maintenance, expired authorization, device failures, or changes to connected services.
SME’s viewing and notification features are household conveniences. They are not a replacement for emergency services, professional alarm monitoring, or direct checks of a situation. Delivery of every event or notification is not guaranteed.
8. Ownership
You retain any rights you hold in your device information and camera content. You authorize the processing necessary to provide the features you enable, as described in the Integration Privacy Policy.
SME branding and original materials remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party software, names, and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licenses.
9. Disconnection and Suspension
You may stop using the integration and revoke Google authorization through your Google Account connections. The SME administrator can also disconnect devices or integrations.
We may restrict or suspend access when necessary to address unauthorized use, security concerns, maintenance, or violations of these terms.
Disconnection stops future access where authorization is revoked but does not automatically delete previously stored history, logs, or backups. See the Integration Privacy Policy for deletion information.
10. Warranties and Legal Rights
The integration is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or compatibility with every device or service.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the integration changes. Material changes will be communicated to authorized users before taking effect where required. Additional permissions or new uses of Google data will require appropriate disclosure and authorization.
